If a person, brand, or product appears in a YouTube video but is missing from VidScore results, you can report it.
Why things go missing
Not all entities produce enough publicly available data for the system to generate a profile. Missing entries usually reflect data limitations, not deliberate exclusion.
How to report
Email [email protected] with the video link and a description of who or what is missing. Reports help identify gaps the system cannot detect on its own.
Detailed reference
What you can expect
- People who appear in videos but do not have profiles
- Brands or products mentioned in content but absent from results
- Profiles that previously existed but no longer appear
- Entities that seem relevant but are not surfaced by the system
Limits
- Guarantees that reported entities will be added. Each case is evaluated individually
- Explanations for why a specific entity is not present in results
- Commitments to profile availability, completeness, or persistence for any individual
How it works
The system generates profiles and results based on patterns in publicly available content. Some entities may not produce enough data for meaningful analysis. Others may be present in content but not yet processed. In some cases, entities may have been removed for compliance or safety reasons.
Reporting a missing entity provides context that helps evaluate whether the absence is expected (limited data) or unexpected (potential gap in analysis).
Common misconceptions
- Assuming a missing profile means VidScore excluded the person deliberately. Absence usually reflects data limitations
- Believing that important or well-known entities should always have profiles. Profile generation depends on available data, not prominence
- Expecting a report to immediately create a new profile. Reports trigger review, not automated creation
What to do
- Please do not send passwords, private messages, identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive personal information
