VidScore™ analyzes publicly available YouTube video content. Everything we evaluate is material that any viewer could access without special access.

• Spoken statements made in published YouTube videos
• Video titles, descriptions, and channel metadata
• Referenced sources, product names, and brand mentions
• Sponsorship disclosures and affiliate acknowledgments
• Publicly listed social profiles and channel information

VidScore scores and findings are the output of a structured analytical methodology. They represent our interpretation of what was said, not a legal or factual determination.

Every finding traces back to something that was actually said or shown in the video. But analysis involves judgment. Reasonable analysts could weigh the same content differently.

VidScore scores represent protected opinion based on disclosed methodology and publicly available content. Scores should be used as a starting point for research and evaluation, not as definitive conclusions. See how we score for details on how we reach our findings.

All information VidScore publishes is derived from publicly available sources. We do not use:

• Private communications or leaked material
• Hacked or scraped non-public data
• Third-party purchased personal data
• User-submitted tips or unverified claims

Identity enrichment draws on publicly available knowledge bases (Wikidata and Google's Knowledge Graph), not proprietary databases.

VidScore identifies and profiles individuals who appear as participants, hosts, or guests in YouTube videos. We focus on public figures who have voluntarily entered public discourse through their published content or public roles.

• Creators and hosts with publicly listed channels
• Guests who participate in published interviews or conversations
• Named experts, executives, or personalities referenced in videos
• Brand spokespeople appearing in branded content

We do not publish profiles of private individuals or people whose YouTube presence is incidental rather than public-facing. If a person appears in a video but has not established a public presence, we do not create a standalone profile for them.

Minors and age-based protections

VidScore's threshold for profiling a person is public figure status, not age. A minor who has independently established a recognized public presence (including an entry in Google's Knowledge Graph) is treated as a public figure for purposes of their public activity. We may profile their publicly available content and identity using the same public data sources we use for adult public figures.

The protection we apply is against profiling minors who have not established a public presence:

• We do not create profiles for minors who appear incidentally in videos: for example, a child in a family vlog, a student at an event, or anyone who did not independently choose to publish under their own identity.
• We do not profile minors based solely on their appearance in another person's content without evidence of their own independent public presence.
• For minors who are indexed as public figures, our analysis is limited to their public roles and publicly available content. We do not publish private biographical details beyond what is in public knowledge bases.

VidScore is an independent analytical service. We have no affiliation with YouTube, Google LLC, or any creator, brand, or channel that appears in our results.

• Appearance in VidScore results does not indicate any relationship with VidScore
• We are not endorsed by YouTube or any creator
• We are not a YouTube partner, certified measurement partner, or authorized representative of any channel
• VidScore and YouTube are unaffiliated. We analyze YouTube content independently.

A creator, brand, or individual appearing in VidScore results does not imply that they endorse VidScore or have any relationship with us.

Scores and findings reflect our analysis of content, not the subject's agreement with, participation in, or approval of VidScore's methodology.

VidScore analysis is structured, evidence-referenced, and methodologically defined. Our goal is accurate interpretation of what was actually said, not harm to any individual or organization.

• Findings are derived from quoted statements, not invented
• Negative findings reflect what was said in the video, not our opinion of the creator
• We do not publish speculation, rumors, or unverified claims
• Safety review is part of our publication process. Content flagged for harm is withheld.

If you believe a score or finding is factually inaccurate, see the correction process below.

We make reasonable efforts to produce accurate analysis, but we make no guarantee of completeness or currency.

• Video content changes. Creators may edit, delete, or update videos after we analyze them.
• Transcripts may contain errors, especially for accented speech, technical terminology, or poor audio
• Non-English content has reduced accuracy in transcript-derived findings
• Identity matching for people with common names or limited public footprints may be imprecise
• Scores are a point-in-time snapshot and do not update automatically

If you are a creator, brand representative, or subject of a VidScore profile and you believe a finding is factually inaccurate, you can request a review by submitting a Report a Concern form.

• Choose the appropriate concern type in the form
• Include the specific video URL or profile page in question
• Describe the inaccuracy and, if possible, point to the timestamp or source that contradicts the finding
• We will review and respond within 14 business days

We review correction requests on their merits. VidScore does not remove accurate, evidence-based findings solely because a subject disagrees with the score.
