1.Overview
VidScore™ analyzes publicly available YouTube content and produces structured scores and findings. We take complaints seriously and provide clear paths for different types of concerns.
This page explains how to submit each type of request and what to expect from our review process. All requests are logged, tracked, and responded to within the timelines stated below.
2.Copyright and DMCA Notices
If you believe content displayed on VidScore infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). VidScore responds to valid DMCA notices in accordance with applicable law.
To file a DMCA notice, send the following to [email protected] with subject line “DMCA Notice”:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on VidScore that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL or description).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. Send the following to [email protected] with subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

3.Creator and Profile Complaints
If you are a creator or public figure and have a concern about how you appear in VidScore results, we want to hear from you. Common requests include:
- Requesting removal of your profile from VidScore results
- Disputing the accuracy of role or relationship assignments
- Reporting incorrect channel or content associations
- Requesting that your content not be analyzed by VidScore
Submit a Report a Concern form with the “Creator Complaint” option and include:
- Your name and the channel or profile in question
- A link to the VidScore page or result you are concerned about
- A description of the issue and your requested resolution
- Proof of identity (link to your verified channel or social profile)
4.Factual Correction Requests
If you believe VidScore displays factually incorrect information about a person, brand, product, or video, you can request a correction.
Submit a Report a Concern form with “Factual Correction” selected and include:
- The specific VidScore page or result containing the error
- What information is incorrect
- What the correct information should be, with supporting evidence if possible
We review correction requests within 14 business days. If we determine a correction is warranted, we will update the affected content. We may not accept all requests, particularly where the information reflects our analytical methodology rather than a factual error.
5.Safety Concerns
If you encounter content on VidScore that raises safety concerns, we want to know immediately. Safety issues include:
- Content involving minors that should not be displayed
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Content that constitutes harassment or threats against an individual
- Personal information that was not voluntarily made public
Submit a Privacy & Safety form to report any safety concern. For concerns involving children, select “Child Safety” as the concern type so we can triage immediately.
6.Legal Removal Requests
If you have a court order, legal judgment, or other lawful basis requiring the removal of content from VidScore, send the relevant documentation to [email protected] with subject line “Legal Removal Request.”
We also cooperate with lawful preservation and takedown requests from law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law.
7.How We Process Requests
All requests submitted through the channels above are processed as follows:
- Request received and logged in our tracking system.
- Acknowledgment sent within 2 business days.
- Review completed within the applicable timeline (see below).
- Decision communicated to the submitter with explanation.
- If action is warranted, changes applied and confirmed.
