Sensitive Content and Safety Safeguards

VidScore includes automated safeguards to reduce exposure to graphic, abusive, or harmful content. These safeguards are not perfect.

What the safeguards do

The system attempts to detect and limit exposure to certain categories of harmful content automatically. Safety reports are handled separately from general feedback and receive priority review.

Your reports matter

No automated system catches everything. If you encounter harmful content surfaced by VidScore, report it immediately with relevant links. Note the nature of the concern - especially if it involves children, abuse, or imminent harm.

Detailed reference

What you can expect

  • Automated resolution of safety concerns. All safety reports involve human review

How it works

VidScore includes safeguards designed to reduce exposure to graphic content, abuse, and child endangerment. These safeguards are not perfect, and reports are reviewed manually. The system processes large volumes of content, and some harmful material may not be caught by automated detection.

Safety reports are handled separately from general feedback. They are prioritized based on severity, with reports involving children, imminent harm, or graphic abuse receiving the highest priority. Not all reports receive direct follow-up. Resolution may happen without notification to the reporter.

Common misconceptions

  • Assuming the existence of harmful content means VidScore is negligent. Safeguards reduce but cannot eliminate all risk
  • Expecting detailed updates on safety report outcomes. These are handled with discretion
  • Believing that automated safeguards can replace human judgment. Reports from users are critical

What to do

  • Please do not send passwords, private messages, identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive personal information
