Supported Pages and Content Types

VidScore works on standard YouTube video watch pages. When you visit a supported video, the extension activates and can analyze the video on request.

What VidScore supports

Standard creator videos across all YouTube categories are supported. This includes tutorials, reviews, podcasts, interviews, vlogs, commentary, and more. VOD replays of past live streams are also supported.

Content types VidScore does not support

VidScore does not support the following content types:

  • Music videos - music videos and audio-only music are not supported
  • Movies and TV shows - professionally produced licensed content
  • Content made for kids - filtered for safety and compliance
  • YouTube Shorts - not supported
  • Live streams in progress - content isn't complete yet; try again after the stream ends

When VidScore skips a video, you'll see a clear message explaining why.

If VidScore doesn't appear

Make sure you're on a YouTube video watch page (not the homepage, search results, or a channel page). If the extension still doesn't show, check that it's enabled in your browser settings.
